Vinaincon has finished and handed-over the Piaggio Vietnam Factory Expansion Project as scheduled. The Owner will held the openning cerymony of the expanded factory on 1st March, 2012.
The project was commenced on 8th March, 2011. According to the contract signed between Vinaincon and Piaggio Vietnam, we was responsible to carry out the works of engineering, procurement and construction with the worth of USD 6.517 million, equivalent to VND 134 billion. The project is of middle scale, but required to be implemented in serious manner and procedures managed by the Owner.
The Factory was designed with a main workshop of 15,660m2, a warehouse of 8.800m2, an two-strorey office of 490m2, a canteen of 520m2 and such utilities as parking lots, water treatment station (80m3/24 hours), security house, improved office, roads and so on…
The challenges Vinaincon has had to face to are to keep the schedule while dealing with changes in design, or to save times after the owner’s estimation and confirmation of the arising works and last but not least to keep the factory parrallely operated. Putting such difficulties aside, Vinaincon and its branch Vinaincon E & C fulfilled and hand-over the expanded factory on time.
